Self Storage FAQ

How Long Can I Rent a Unit?

Rent your unit for as long (or short) as you need!  We offer month-to-month leases and bill in one-month increments.  Our goal is to make your storage experience as simple and easy as possible. We just require a 10 day notice to vacate.

Are My Items Insured While Being Stored At Your Facility?

Insurance for your items is a requirement for Storage 365. Renting a storage unit is similar to renting an apartment.  The same way your landlord doesn't insure your personal belongings, Storage 365 doesn't insure your items either.  However, we do offer an excellent Property Protection program that satisfies the lease requirement, for a small additional monthly fee! Please note: if you have homeowner's or renter's insurance, your property may be covered, but you should double check with your agent.

Who Has Access to my Storage Unit?

The unit you rent is secured with your own lock and your key - only you can decide who has access to your unit and who doesn't.  Storage 365 policy is to never give anyone who isn't on your rental agreement access. If you choose, you are free to divulge your unit number, key, and gate-code access to anyone as long as you're comfortable with them accessing your unit.

When is my Payment Due?

Your due date is the same day of the month you moved in.  So if you moved in on the 10th of the month, your next bill will be due on the 10th of the following month.

Do You Require Notice to Move Out?

Yes, we require a 10 day notice - in writing - before your next billing cycle.

I Lost the Key to my Unit, What Can I do?

Please contact us to access your unit! One of our storage staff members can cut the lock for you. For reasons we hope you understand, we do not allow bolt cutters on the property.  Please keep in mind, if you do try to cut your own luck, you may damage the slide-bolt and door, both of which you will be liable for.
